This week has been very exciting for us: we have had a PLANETARIUM at school!!!
Infant Cducation Children have watched a beatiful film and Primary Students an interesting explanation of the stars and constellations we can see in different seasons.
Now that you can identify some constellations, why don't you look at the sky at night and try to find them? You can download the file below to help (in Catalan):
In 5th Grade, we are studying the plants. Some days ago, each of us planted white beans seeds, and every day we have science, we water and observe them:
We also made an experiment: we planted white beans seeds in a box with some obstacles and a little hole on top. We wanted to see if a seed can grow without sunlight or very little sunlight. Now, we can assure that, amazingly, they grew faster than the others, looking for the sunlight!!!
In 4th grade, we are learning about food and health.
Last week, we have the opportunity to interview a mother who has diabetes, a health problem that affects many kids and adults. She told us her experience and showed us how she checks her blood sugar level and how she gets shots of insulin.
Thank you very much for coming, now we know a lot of things about diabetes.
