The body (3rd Grade)

Good afternoon class!

Let's start Unit 2: THE BODY!

I feel like singing, don't you? ;)

HEAD, SHOULDERS, KNEES and TOES

CHEEKS, CHIN, NECK and BUM

Bones, part 1 (6th Grade)

Hello 6th Grade!

How are you?

This week, many of you brought bones in class in order to make an experiment.

First, we observed and classified them into LONG, SHORT or FLAT bones:

Then, we broke some of them in order to answer the question: What's inside a bone?

We found out that bones have BONE MARROW inside, which something related to blood cells, but we have to investigate a little more...

Finally, we put the bone into a glass jar and we filled it with vinegar...

Now, we are going to wait for a week.

What is going to happen????? Any hypothesis???

Body songs (3rd Grade)

Hi, everyone!

We want to share with you one activity we did with our students of 3rd grade. Som weeks ago, we studied the body. At the very beginning, we learned this song:

Days later, after studying the parts of the body, bones and muscles; we invented some songs in groups:

Cheeks, chin, neck and bum! (3rd grade)

Hello again everybody!

In 3rd Grade, we are studying the parts of our body, as well as the skeleton and the muscular system.
One of our favourite songs to learn more specific body parts is " Cheeks, chin, neck and bum"!
Since we discovered it, we can't stop singing it!
