Liquids and densities II (5th A Grade)

Good afternoon boys and girls!

Today we have to congratule three students for having done an experiment at home and brought it in class. They are Saad, Roger and Judit, from 5th A grade. 

Yesterday, we had a great lesson on liquids and their densities. We did an easy experiment, which you can do in your houses. It consists on pouring different liquids into a glass and see what happens. You'll probably notice that they don't mix and that's because they've got different densities.

Come on, try it!

JUDIT: honey, milk, liquid soap and oil.

SAAD: honey, liquid soap, toilet cleaner, oil and alcohol.

ROGER: caramel syrup, honey, oil and alcohol.

Hello everyone!

In 5th grade we are studing MATTER and its properties (mass, volume and density).

Today, we have done one experiment to notice that:

• Different liquids have different densities.
• Liquids with different densities don't mix. So, you can pile them creating a beautiful effect.

We used: 

HONEY - MILK - WATER - LIQUID SOAP - OIL

An amazing book for the Science Class!

Good morning everybody!

Today we are very happy because Nil, a boy from 3rd A grade, has brought us an amazing book. It was his birthday and to celebrate it he decided to give a scientific book to the Science class. He chose a 3D Space book, which includes 3D glasses, because he knows that next year we are going to study the Universe.
