Happy Summer!

Hello children!

It's been a hard but great year; full of new contents, experiments, activities, curiosities,  also exams (yes, it's true...)...

So now... We deserve some holidays, don't you think?

I hope you have a fantastic Summer with your families and friends ;)

Liquids and densities (5th B Grade)

Hello everyone!

How are you???

Today we have to congratulate five pupils from 5th B Grade, for having done an experiment at home and brought them in class in order to explain and show it to us.

They poured different liquids into a container and observed that they don't mix because they have different densities.

Our scientific students are: ARIADNA, NICU, ROBERT, ORIOL and MIREIA.

Great job children, thank you very much!!!

Liquids and densities (5th Grade)

Hello everyone!

In 5th grade we are studying MATTER and its properties (mass, volume and density).

Today, we have done one experiment to notice that:
  • Different liquids have different densities.
  • Liquids with different densities don't mix. So, you can pile them creating a beautiful effect.

We used:
HONEY, KETCHUP, LIQUID SOAP, WATER, OIL and ALCOHOL (5th B)
HONEY, LIQUID SOAP, MILK, DISH WASHER, WATER, OIL and ALCOHOL (5th A)

Parts of a flower (3rd Grade)

Hello!

Third Grade pupils are studying the parts of a flower, and LILIUMS are perfect flowers to do that, because their parts are clearly visible. We strongly recommend you to get some and observe them, using a magnifying glass or, if possible, a microscope. Then, all the parts can be drawn.
