Optical Illusions (3rd grade)

Hello, 3rd Grade!

Today in class, we talked about the sense of SIGHT.

We know that the eyes are the organs of sight, and that they transmit the information to the brain. But sometimes they can trick our brain... For example, looking at...

Optical Illusions are pictures that trick the human eye into seeing something that is not real. Here you have some examples:

Duck or rabbit?
Old or young woman?

Indigenous of the Americas or Eskimo?
Which circle is bigger?

How many legs has the elephant got?

Frog or horse?
Front or side?

Is it really moving?
Wow!!! Painted on the floor!
Fascinating!

Just one more! Have a look at this TV advertisement:
